Our insurance company, Willis Transportation Risks, have actually written to us congratulating us on our low claims ratio, clearly underlining our commitment to quality packing and handling.  There are still rare instances, despite all reasonable precautions having been taken, where damage or loss may still  occur and it is in these instances where Links Relocations have negotiated excellent conditions with Wills  Transportation Risks.

 We therefore recommend that your entire shipment be fully protected by “ALL RISK” Insurance coverage. Insuring  your shipment will not only compensate you in the event of loss or damage but will also provide you with total piece of  mind while your belongings are in transit.

 In addition to the standard household goods and personal effects insurance coverage offered by most insurance  companies, Links Relocations has arranged for 3 additional options to be included at no extra charge. Electrical &  Mechanical Derangement, Pairs & Sets and Mold & Mildew Coverage are automatically included.

Claims Handling
 
Experience and statistical analysis provided by our insurance company reflect that most claims are logged at below US$1,000.

Typically, a usual insurance claim will entail the provision of documented quotations from repairers or suppliers. Even with the assistance of our dedicated insurance officers, the insurance claims procedure and process may take a little time to complete and this can be exceptionally inconvenient when setting up home in a new location.

Links Relocations places a large volume of business with our insurance company with the result that we are able to settle claims immediately up to US$2,000 allowing you to replace the item(s) in question immediately whilst completing the quotation formalities at a more leisurely pace.
