Materials & Methods

For export, all items are wrapped in our 3 tier bubble wrap. This wrap has a soft tissue paper inner liner, a bubble centre and a plastic coating. In the packing of antiques, soft wooden furniture, or the edges of furniture, the bubble wrap is strengthened by a layer of cardboard.

China and glassware are tube packed. This method involves wrapping in paper then placing in a cardboard sleeve before being placed in the carton.

Crating

Some items are just so fragile that they need to be wrapped or packed in poly chip inside wooden crates. We are fully equipped to provide custom crating for any fragile items. The delicate items are measured and the wooden crates are designed to these specifications in order to ensure safe transit.
